How to get there, where to stay, and what to do on the island

These are some of our recommendations to brighten your stay!

How to Get There &
Get Around

All international flights arrive at Malta International Airport (Luqa) — the island’s only airport. It’s a 15-minute taxi ride to Valletta, making arrivals quick and easy.

Taxis, Bolt and Uber are readily available at all times of the day and night, so there’s no need to pre-book transfers if you prefer a simple weekend trip.

If you’re only visiting for the wedding weekend, it’s very easy to get around the island using buses or ride-sharing apps.

If you’re staying longer, we recommend renting a car to make exploring Malta more convenient. From experience, our preferred car hire company is Enterprise.
